Parkland Florida

Parkland is a city located in Broward County just north of Coral Springs and 30 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, and Hollywood International Airport. Its land mass is 10.8 square miles and is renowned as one of Florida’s well kept secrets because of its wonderful weather, access to activities and proximity to larger metro areas.

Once the site of cattle ranches in the early 1900s, Parkland FL is now an affluent community that has passed zoning laws designed to protect the "park-like" character of the city.

Covered Bridge Park
Located in 6031 Holmberg Road, with pedestrian trails and the covered bridge.

Doris Davis Forman Wilderness Preserve
This pristine natural area is nestled in the heart of the City of Parkland, in 7300 Parkside Drive. The 20-acre site pedestrian trails, seating/observation areas and a pavilion area.

Equestrian Center at Temple Park
This park located at 8350 Ranch Road is frequented by neighboring Horseman who make use of the open space and two Equestrian Rings for horseback riding.

John H. Quigley Park
This 5 acre Park located at 7901 Parkside Drive, has T-ball/Coach Pitch Fields, Soccer fields and a Football and Baseball field, a Playground Area and a picnic Pavilion.

Liberty Park
The Park located at 9200 Ranch Road, is 7.0 acres and includes a 1 acre Tot Lot and Playground, a Water Play area, a large Pavilion and two smaller Pavilions for use.

Pine Trails Park
Located in 10555 Trails End, the park includes Soccer Fields, Basketball Courts, Concession Building and Restrooms.

Terramar Park
The natural preserve is 50.1 acres and includes 2 lakes and 1.17 miles of paved walking and jogging paths.
